Jessica Miller believes that individuals learn and communicate in unique ways and require customized forms of education and training. This belief was formed during an internship with the pioneer Reggio-Emilia program in the United States, Chicago Commons. While there, she split time between administrative functions, including staff trainings, and hands-on classroom experience.
Upon completion, she joined the inaugural staff at Emory’s, The Clifton School, as the only staff member to have working experience in a Reggio school, where she provided guidance in the establishment of its program.
She was next brought in as the Director of a struggling private Montessori school where she was charged with affecting a shift in the program’s culture. The resulting change led to a 65% increase in attendance, and a 50% decrease in staff turnover. She also facilitated the opening of three additional campuses.
Joining Carver & Associates in 2010, she has applied her expertise in learning styles to design curriculum that aligns with the needs and patterns of today’s workforce. Her client list includes Hansgrohe, Cox Media Group, Atlanta VA Medical Center, Social Security Administration, and Holy Spirit High School.
She received her B.S from the University of Georgia in Consumer Journalism.
